Cheeky Chums Day Nurseries Edgware

South Parade, 41-42 Mollison Way, Edgware HA8 5QL, UK – 020 8952 6131

I first came across Cheeky Chums Edgware in 2011 and have since sent all 3 of my children there. A spacious, warm, welcoming nursery with such wonderful staff that have helped develop the confidence in my children. My children were each assigned a key person and you have regular meetings to discuss their development. Regular online observations help keep you informed of your child's progress. There are parent newsletters and they involve parents in activities held throughout the year. My youngest is due to finish this Summer term and we will both miss Cheeky Chums very much. Thank you to all the staff for all your hard work.

Since joining Cheeky Chums Nursery, a year ago, my son has bloomed and developed in so many positive ways – such as his understanding, listening and language skills. He enjoys going to nursery and has developed a close bond with his carers who are experienced, caring and professional and whom the children respond well to. My son is a particularly fussy eater and his carers have successfully encouraged him to eat his lunch and tea on a daily basis. Cheek Chums Nursery has also taken the time to understand his other needs and have worked with him and as such he has flourished into a confident happy young boy. What more could I ask for! My son starts school in September and he will take with him fond memories of Cheeky Chums. My daughter, 20 months, will continue attending the nursery until she is old enough to start school – she too has flourished since attending the nursery and is also very happy and content. Needless to say I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the nursery to other parents and have complete confidence and peace of mind with the staff when dropping of my children at the start of each day.

Boys & Girls Nursery Stanmore

Cottrell Cottages, 57-65 The Broadway, Stanmore HA7 4DJ, UK – 020 8954 3599

I visited several (questionable) nurseries before I visited B & G. Everything about this nursery is exceptional, including the all-important Ofsted Report! The admin/management team and the ladies that care for your child are all incredibly helpful and supportive. The settling in process was nerve racking (for me), but my son’s key worker made it incredibly easy. I really cannot say enough about my sons key worker and the team as a whole – they're all amazing! The CCTV monitor in reception is fab during the settling in period – I love that the nursery is completely transparent. I cannot praise this nursery enough for everything they do. The freshly made meals are amazing and my son has seconds every time! Leaving your child for the first time is so daunting, but the staff have made the process so easy – the genuine love and affection is clear to see and I am so grateful to them for the care and attentiveness they display toward my son. If you are considering B&G, don’t delay! Not least because there is a waiting list but, more importantly, you will not regret it!

B&G Stanmore is a great nursery. Staff are friendly and attentive which makes me confident that our son is looked after well. Our son has been attending the nursery for almost 2 years and is enjoying it so much. He continues to surprise us each day with the new things he learns from nursery. Thanks B&G Stanmore! :)

My daughter has been at the school since reception and is about to go into year 8. It is an absolutely oustanding school on every single count. Academically it's second to none but the same goes for all the extra curricular activities too. Drama, Art, Music and everything else you can think of are done with the same enthusiasm and professionalism and dedication as the work on the academic curriculum.

Fabulous school. One of the best in the country. Can't understand 1 stars. Probably didn't get in!

Park High School

Thistlecroft Gardens, Stanmore HA7 1PL, UK – 020 8952 2803

When I came to Park High School, I liked it at first and the teachers are mostly friendly, but in Year 9, school got a lot worse for me. Bullying doesn't stop despite teachers' efforts and some of the students are horrible. A lot are good but some are racist and generally very rude. Some teachers have their issues but in fairness they are decent. Ever since year 9, I wanted to move back to my homeland Serbia. Здраво дал ли разумете! I know it's sad that I want out but I don't want to be in this country and the school reflects my feelings on England in general. But if anyone in my year is reading this, guys, it isn't your fault. Well not most of yas anyway. And teachers reading this, I know it's hard working in a school, my cousin works in a school where the kids are only 7 years old and their parents and themselves are all (mostly) dyslexic and there is very strict security. I know you try your best but at the end of the day, England hasn't been very nice to me and the school hasn't really been much nicer. Of course, there is always a shining light though, because if there wasn't, I would give only a star. Many students can be very kind and teachers like Mr Sellar, Mr Wright and many others are great teachers. Also, I like how some teachers and pupils take the effort to understand me and make me feel better about life. But at the end of the day, it is too much stress for me to cope with to carry on at this school and moving away from all my troubles is the best solution.

i made my first 1000 pounds at this school. loved it.

Fantastic Pre-school. All the teachers are very motherly in nature and treat the pupils with utmost care and love. Would also like to appreciate the friendliness of the entire staff at the time of drop-off and pick-up.

Lovely school situated in the heart of Edgware, teachers really care for pre-school children who also benefit from wonderful fresh vegetarian lunches prepared on site
